About

Outside of a social, economic, and political framework, “The Consortium Concept” focuses on protecting against the earth’s global warming and extreme climates by minimizing its effects on the environment and risks to the continuity of humanity/life with climate technology.  Our mission integrates the world’s people’s will to engage their national institutions in a non-traditional approach to optimize the independent management of critical global climate issues and solutions.

Unlike capitalism and market systems, our concept goes beyond monetizing climate recovery in terms of “Return on Investment” which adds a considerable risk to humanity.  Nor does it use “Cost to Benefit Analysis” calculations used by governments. It places a priority on the continuity of humanity, the livability of our environment, and the benefits of its outcome. Markets and governments will benefit from our mission realizing new forms of prosperity, stable markets and governments, but mostly from the mitigation of losses due to climate change.

We have all heard promising talk and seen the window dressing of announcement that assure the promise of a cleaner future which stabilizes our climate and develops our renewable energy goals.  A proposed carbon credit scheme which calls for citizens to change their business and lifestyles, a call to to conserve, and a ban on gasoline automobiles by 2035, etc.  But not much more than that can be accomplished using our traditional institutions.  See our Comparison between the Consortium Concept and the Paris Climate Agreement.

The Climate Protection Consortium was established in November of 2018 to propose an unconventional ideology to break this gridlock and provide the world with the ability to respond to a critical global climate crisis. Even though climate recovery technology has been available for over 100 years, our ability to solve these problems has been blocked by market conflicts and conflicting national and governmental agendas.  Our geopolitical landscape has further compromised our critical safety and security features which dismantle the sustainability and continuity of humanity.

We need a set of independent institution which leverages the influence of our people and their  delegated authority to our governments to cooperate in solving big, long-term, and complex problems efficiently.  This is the only way to humanity’s greater good.

The “Consortium Concept” is a non-traditional approach to global climate management with many in house technology solutions. This mission involves every citizen, organization, government, corporation, investor, the wealthy, and all special interests to align and contribute to making our  environment a better place to live and ensuring a better future.

The Consortium’s mission goals are to:

  • Stabilize atmospheric CO2 concentrations to 350 ppm by 2035 with climate stabilization technology infrastructure enabled by renewable energy.
  • Influence global climate legislation, policy, and regulations to protect the development and implementation of climate mitigation technology solutions worldwide.
  • Provide master planning to guide climate management.
  • Foster, fund and develop as many critical climate recovery technology solutions as possible for global implementation.

The Consortium is well suited to act as a long-term custodial stewardship due to its non-partisan, single climate agenda and its insulation from national agendas, bureaucratic conflicts, special interests and market influences.
